Gas Safe Register replaced the CORGI gas register in Great Britain on 1 April 2009
There is only one gas safety register - make sure your Southwark Heating Engineer is gas safe registered. Look for the yellow Gas Safe Register triangle not the orange CORGI registration badge.
Anyone carrying out work on any gas appliances in the Southwark area must be registered with Gas Safe Register. If not, they are breaking the law and putting you and your family or tenants in danger.
You must only use a Gas Safe registered engineer for any type of gas work, including installation, maintenance and servicing.
Did you know that gas appliances should be checked once a year? If you do not have your gas appliances checked and serviced every year you could be putting you and your family or tenants in danger of carbon monoxide poisoning.
